Montag, 23. August
Um 7 klingelt der Wecker. Ich dusche und frühstücke. Um 8:20 Uhr fange ich an zu arbeiten. Ich säge, hacke und staple Brennholz. Etwa um 14 Uhr essen wir alle zusammen Lunch. Nach der Mittagspause helfe ich John. Wir gehen zu seinem Nachbarn. Dort verlegen wir in einem Anbau das Kabel für die Deckenlampe neu. Wir bringen Kabelkanäle an. Außerdem flexe ich an der Decke Eisenstangen ab. Das dauert bis 16 Uhr.
Den Rest des Tages ruhe ich mich aus. Ich chatte mit Freunden aus Deutschland. Und spiele mit John eine Runde Boule. Abends essen wir zusammen.
Ab etwa 22:20 Uhr bin ich im Zelt.
Another working day
Monday, 23 August
The alarm clock rings at 7. I take a shower and have breakfast. At 8:20 I start to work. I saw, chop and stack firewood. At about 2 pm we all have lunch together. After lunch I help John. We go to his neighbour's house. There we re-route the cable for the ceiling lamp in an extension. We install cable ducts. I also remove iron rods from the ceiling. That takes until 4 pm.
The rest of the day I rest. I chat with friends from Germany. And I play a game of boules with John. In the evening we eat together.
From about 22:20 I am in the tent.
