Freitag, 14. April (Tag 30 in Bangladesch) Heute endet mein On Arrival Visum
Heute wache ich erst gegen 9 auf.
Ich rasiere mich gründlich und dusche. Dann räume ich das Zimmer auf. Und packe meine Sachen zusammen. Zum Check Out rufe ich den Mitarbeiter an.
Um 12 verlasse ich mein Hotelzimmer. Ich fahre mit Mopedritschka zur Metrostation Mirpur 10.
Gegen 13 Uhr komme ich dort an. In einem Café trinke ich Eiscafé und Lemon-Mint Juice. Heute ist es sehr heiß!
Etwa um 14 Uhr fahr ich mit Bus bis zur Endstation Sadar Ghat. Die Busfahrt dauert 1 Stunde.
Dann fahre ich mit Fahrradritschka weiter. Der Fahrer kennt den Tempel nicht. Und bringt mich zu einem falschen Ort. Ein Sicherheitsbeamter hilft mir. Er telefoniert mit Reyon. Sie machen einen Treffpunkt aus. Eine andere Fahrradritschka bringt mich dorthin. Reyon und Roni erwarten mich bereits. Um 16 Uhr erreichen wir den Tempel.
Ich bekomme ein Zimmer zugeteilt. Es ist klein. Und stickig. Und nur mit einem Bett möbliert. Es gibt ein eigenes Bad. Mit Hocktoilette. Aber für den günstigen Preis ist das Ok.
Dann laden mich Reyon und Roni zum Essen in das zum Tempel gehörende Restaurant zum Essen ein. Es gibt ein traditionelles Reisgericht. Das Essen im Tempel ist nach den Regeln des Hinduismus vegetarisch und ohne Eier. Es gibt auch keinen Kaffee und keinen Tee.
Anschließend zeigen Sie mir den Tempel. Ich bekomme erste Einblicke in den Hinduismus. Besonders Reyon ist sehr gläubig. Und lebt strikt nach den Regeln von Lord Krishna. Das ist sehr beeindruckend!
Den Rest des Tages verbringe ich mit den beiden. Sie haben ein gemeinsames Zimmer. Da mein Zimmer so heiß und stickig ist, kann ich mich bei Ihnen im Zimmer aufhalten. Gegen 22:30 Uhr gehe ich rüber in mein Zimmer. Ich dusche nochmal.
Ab etwa 23:15 Uhr schlafe ich.
Moving to the Hindu Temple
Friday, 14 April (Day 30 in Bangladesh) Today my On Arrival Visa ends.
Today I don't wake up until about 9.
I shave thoroughly and take a shower. Then I tidy up the room. And pack my things. To check out, I call the staff member.
At 12 I leave my hotel room. I take Mopedrichka to the metro station Mirpur 10.
Around 1 pm I arrive there. At a café I drink ice cream and Lemon-Mint Juice. It is very hot today!
Around 14h I take a bus to Sadar Ghat terminus. The bus ride takes 1 hour.
Then I continue by bicycle rickshaw. The driver does not know the temple. And takes me to a wrong place. A security guard helps me. He talks to Reyon on the phone. They arrange a meeting point. Another bicycle rickshaw takes me there. Reyon and Roni are already waiting for me. At 4 pm we reach the temple.
I am assigned a room. It is small. And stuffy. And furnished with only one bed. There is a private bathroom. With a squat toilet. But for the low price, that's OK.
Then Reyon and Roni invite me to dinner in the restaurant belonging to the temple. They serve a traditional rice dish. The food in the temple is vegetarian and without eggs, according to the rules of Hinduism. There is also no coffee or tea.
Afterwards they show me around the temple. I get my first insights into Hinduism. Reyon in particular is very devout. And lives strictly according to the rules of Lord Krishna. That is very impressive!
I spend the rest of the day with the two of them. They have a shared room. Since my room is so hot and stuffy, I can stay in the room with you. Around 10:30 pm I go over to my room. I take another shower.
From about 11:15 pm I sleep.
