Auf dem Campingplatz

Mittwoch, 06. Juli (Ich habe frei)

Der Tag beginnt normal.

Beim Meeting erfahre ich, dass ich heute frei habe. Das ist sehr gut!

Ich kann die Zeit sinnvoll nutzen. Und an meinem Buchprojekten arbeiten. Komme aber nicht wirklich dazu.

Ab etwa 10:20 Uhr sitze ich am Tablet. Zunächst auf einer Bank. Später am Tisch im Aufenthaltsbereich.

Ich schreibe erstmal kurz Tagebuch. Und aktualisiere den Blog.

Außerdem sichere ich Fotos und Tagebuchdateien auf der externen Festplatte.

Dann sichere- und lösche ich weitere Fotos aus der Google Cloud. Um dort Speicherplatz freizugeben. Das dauert länger als gedacht. Etwa um 16:30 Uhr ist der Akku vom Tablet leer.

Ich nutz die Ladezeit für einen Spaziergang. In Assureti ist ein ehemaliger deutscher Friedhof. Dort will ich hin. Er ist nur knapp 2 km entfernt. Kurz vor Assureti komme ich an einer halb zugewachsenen Ruine vorbei. Spontan gehe ich hin. Erst finde ich durch die Dornenbüsche keinen Eingang. Als ich dann doch drin bin, sehe ich, dass innen alles leer ist. Nur auf dem Boden liegt Schutt. Ich mache Fotos. Und gehe dann weiter.

Gegen 18 Uhr komme ich zu dem Friedhof. Allerdings ist das Tor verschlossen. Ich mache von außen Fotos. Durch die tiefstehende Sonne ist es schwierig gute Bilder zu machen. Außerdem habe ich vergessen, die Kamera zu laden. Der Akku ist leer. Ich nehme das Handy. Auch der Akku ist leer. Es ist gut, dass ich immer eine Powerbank dabei habe.

Etwa um 18:30 Uhr gehe ich zurück. Rechtzeitig zum Essen bin ich wieder auf dem Campingplatz.

Nach dem Essen ruhe ich mich aus.

Abends spielen wir Gesellschaftsspiele. Luca und ich spielen Schach. Ich verliere.

Etwa um 23 Uhr verabschiede ich mich. Ich bin dann im Bett noch am Tablet.

Trinke meine Zitrone und schreibe Tagebuch. Außerdem versuche ich meinen Twitter Account zu löschen. Der wurde offenbar gehackt. Und ich nutze ihn sowieso nicht. Aber durch das ständige ändern vom Passwort kann ich mich nicht mehr einloggen.

Um Mitternacht breche ich ab. Und schlafe.

Der Tag war geldfrei.

Wednesday, 06 July (I'm off work)

The day starts normally.

At the meeting I find out that I have the day off. That is very good!

I can use the time wisely. And work on my book projects. But I don't really get to it.

From about 10:20 a.m. I sit at the tablet. First on a bench. Later at a table in the lounge area.

First I write a short diary. And update the blog.

I also back up photos and diary files on the external hard drive.

Then I back up and delete more photos from the Google Cloud. To free up storage space there. This takes longer than expected. Around 4:30 pm, the battery of the tablet is empty.

I use the charging time for a walk. In Assureti there is a former German cemetery. I want to go there. It is only about 2 km away. Shortly before Assureti I pass a half overgrown ruin. Spontaneously I go there. At first I cannot find an entrance through the thorn bushes. When I finally get inside, I see that everything is empty. There is only rubble on the floor. I take photos. And then I walk on.

Around 6 pm I arrive at the cemetery. But the gate is locked. I take photos from outside. It is difficult to take good pictures because of the low sun. Besides, I forgot to charge the camera. The battery is empty. I take the mobile phone. The battery is also empty. It's good that I always have a power bank with me.

At about 6:30 pm I go back. I am back at the campsite in time for dinner.

After dinner I rest.

In the evening we play board games. Luca and I play chess. I lose.

Around 11 pm I say goodbye. I am then in bed still on the tablet.

I drink my lemon and write in my diary. I also try to delete my Twitter account. It seems to have been hacked. And I don't use it anyway. But because I keep changing my password, I can't log in any more.

At midnight I stop. And sleep.

The day was free of money.
