Es regnet die ganze Nacht.
Ich bin zwischendurch immer wieder wach.
Um etwa 6:15 Uhr wache ich auf. Es regnet. Ishwar und Tejal sind noch nicht da.
Ich wasche mich erstmal.
Heute morgen ist es recht frisch. Ich ziehe die lange Unterhose unter die kurze Hose.
Die beiden kommen erst später, als der Regen nachlässt. Heute gibt es erst um 8:15 Uhr Frühstück. Gegen 9 fahren Ishwar und ich zur Farm. Erstmal mache ich die Haufen der Büffel weg. Sie sind teilweise richtig groß!
Es wird
Später helfe ich Ishwar bei der Bohnenernte.
Dann bekomme ich die Aufgabe, ein weiteres Feldstück von Steinen zu säubern. Ich schmeiße sie auf einen Haufen.
Heute fällt es mir wieder wie gewohnt leicht, auch schwere Steine anzuheben und auf den Haufen zu bringen.
Die Fleischmahlzeit hat Wunder gewirkt!
Um 11:40 Uhr mache ich Feierabend. Ich wasche mich kurz. Dann sammle ich noch Zitronen auf.
Mittags fahren wir zurück. Jetzt wird das undichte Dach repariert. Harry klettert aufs Dach. Der Vater von Ishwar und ich gehen in die beiden Räume unter dem Dach. Wir zeigen Harry von innen die undichten Stellen. Er rückt die Dachpfannen so hin, dass sie verschlossen werden.
Dann gibt es Mittagessen. Selbstgemachte Pasta in Currysauce mit Reis. Es ist super gut und sehr lecker!
Dann mache ich Mittagsschlaf.
Nachmittags meldet sich Mathura aus Mayapur bei mir. Ein Freund von ihm hat ein Zimmer in dem Haus gemietet. Und fragt, ob er gelegentlich meinem Fahrrad fahren kann. Aber das ist ja beladen. Und ich möchte das nicht. Es ist Ok. Bei der Gelegenheit plane ich, wie lange ich noch hier bleibe.

Später „dusche“ ich. Und weiche meine Wäsche ein.
Anschließend esse ich Knoblauch. Und trinke meine Zitrone.
Um 16 Uhr ist Teezeit. Dann schreibe ich mit Unterbrechungen Tagebuch.
Gegen 19 Uhr gibt es Dinner. Zum Reis gibt es einen super leckeren Curry Dal mit den Bohnen, die wir heute geerntet haben. Das Essen hier ist wirklich immer wieder super gut!
Anschließend helfe ich Tejal wieder beim abwaschen. Dann wasche ich meine Wäsche.
Unten auf der Straße fährt sich ein Moped in einem sehr großen und tiefen Schlagloch fest. Ich geh runter. Und helfe dem Fahrer da raus zu kommen. Vorwärts ist nicht möglich. Wir schieben das Moped dann rückwärts. Mit vereinten Kräften schaffen wir es. Und er kann weiter fahren.
Kurz darauf fährt sich dort ein Auto fest. Der Fahrer schafft es aber rückwärts raus zu fahren.
Ich nehme mir vor, das Loch morgen mal aufzufüllen.
Ab etwa 20:10 Uhr schreibe ich weiter Tagebuch.
Heute bin ich erstaunlich fit und klar im Kopf.
Um etwa 22:45 Uhr stelle ich die Schreibarbeiten ein.
Ab etwa 23 Uhr schlafe ich.
Der Tag war geldfrei.
So geht es weiter:
In Absprache mit Ishwar bleibe ich diese und nächste Woche noch hier.
Nächste Woche Freitag, 29.9. Wird meine Rente auf dem Konto sein. Dann kann ich Samstag nach Punjpur zum Geldautomaten fahren. Und Ishwar den Essensbeitrag geben. Und am Sonntag oder Montag fahre ich von hier aus direkt mit Bus und Bahn nach Mayapur. Ich werde mir bis dahin noch eine Verbindung raus suchen. Rechne aber damit, dass ich etwa 3 Tage unterwegs sein werde.
Dann plane ich etwa 1 Woche in Mayapur ein. Ein Freund von Mathura kann mir sehr günstig eine Wohnung vermieten.
So habe ich dann im Oktober genug Zeit mit Fahrrad zur Grenze nach Nepal zu kommen. Ich werde aber etwa die halbe Strecke mit Bus fahren.
Es war die richtige Entscheidung bis zum Monatsende hier zu bleiben.
So ist die Zahlung der Jahresgebühr für meine Homepage gesichert.
Und ich kann zumindest meinen Blog aktualisieren.

It rains all night.
I am awake again and again in between.
At about 6:15 I wake up. It is raining. Ishwar and Tejal are not here yet.
I wash myself first.
It is quite fresh this morning. I put my long pants under my short trousers.
They come later, when the rain lets up. Today we have breakfast only at 8:15am. Around 9, Ishwar and I drive to the farm. First I clean up the piles of buffalo. Some of them are really big!
It becomes
Later I help Ishwar with the bean harvest.
Then I get the task of clearing another piece of field of stones. I throw them on a pile.
Today I find it easy again, as usual, to lift even heavy stones and bring them to the pile.
The meat meal has worked wonders!
At 11:40 I call it a day. I wash briefly. Then I pick up some lemons.
At noon we drive back. Now we repair the leaking roof. Harry climbs onto the roof. Ishwar's father and I go into the two rooms under the roof. We show Harry the leaks from the inside. He moves the roof tiles so that they are sealed.
Then we have lunch. Homemade pasta in curry sauce with rice. It is super good and very tasty!
Then I take a nap.
In the afternoon, Mathura from Mayapur calls me. A friend of his has rented a room in the house. And asks if he can occasionally ride my bike. But it is loaded. And I don't want to. It's okay. I'll take the opportunity to plan how long I'm going to stay here.

Later I "shower". And soak my laundry.
Afterwards I eat garlic. And drink my lemon.
At 4 pm it's tea time. Then I write my diary intermittently.
Around 7 pm we have dinner. For rice we have a super delicious curry dal with the beans we harvested today. The food here is always super good!
Afterwards, I help Tejal wash up again. Then I do my laundry.
Down on the road, a moped gets stuck in a very big and deep pothole. I go down. And help the driver to get out of it. Forward is not possible. We push the moped backwards. With our combined forces we make it. And he can drive on.
Shortly afterwards, a car gets stuck there. But the driver manages to drive out backwards.
I plan to fill the hole tomorrow.
From about 20:10 I continue writing my diary.
Today I am surprisingly fit and clear-headed.
At about 22:45 I stop writing.
From about 11 pm I sleep.
The day was free of money.
So it continues:
In consultation with Ishwar, I stay on this week and next.
Next week Friday, 29.9. my pension will be in the account. Then I can go to Punjpur to the ATM on Saturday. And give Ishwar the food contribution. And on Sunday or Monday I will go directly from here to Mayapur by bus and train. I will look for a connection until then. But expect to be on the road for about 3 days.
Then I plan to spend about 1 week in Mayapur. A friend from Mathura can rent me a flat very cheaply.
This will give me enough time to cycle to the border in Nepal in October. However, I will travel about half the distance by bus.
It was the right decision to stay here until the end of the month.
This way, the payment of the annual fee for my homepage is secured.
And I can at least update my blog.
