Mittwoch, 06. September
Um 6 klingelt der Wecker. Ich wasche mich kurz.
Dann gibt es Frühstück. Heute gibt es Milchreis mit Puri. Und selbstgemachte cookies.
Nach dem Essen gehen Elias und ich zur Farm. Heute nehme ich die Kamera mit. Und mache Fotos.
Heute bekommen Elias und ich diverse Aufgaben. (Das Gemüsebeet legen wir doch noch nicht an.)
Zuerst zerkloppen wir alte Dachplatten. Damit das Material als Unterbau wieder verwendet werden kann.
Dann bringen wir Brennholz nach vorne.
Es ist wieder ein sehr heißer Tag.
Heutesind die Arbeiter wieder da. Sie arbeiten an den Mauern.
Später sammeln, und ziehen wir das Brennholz aus dem Hang. Es ist zugewachsen.
Um 11 machen wir Feierabend. Auch heute füllen wir Trinkwasser auf. Und Elias duscht mich wieder ab.
Dann wird Zement geliefert. Auf meine spontane Initiative tragen Elias und ich die Säcke rein. Danach duscht er mich nochmal ab.
Dann gehen wir zurück zum Haus. Auf halben Weg nimmt Ishwar uns mit Moped mit.
Später „dusche“ ich. Und weiche meine Wäsche von heute ein. Außerdem rolle ich die trockene Wäsche zusammen. Es ist toll, dass meine ganzen Anziehsachen wieder gewaschen sind.
Zum Mittag gibt es wieder Milchreis, Puri und cookies.
Nach dem Essen mache ich Mittagsschlaf.
Ich schlafe tief und fest. Viel länger als ich wollte.
Um 16:30 Uhr wache ich auf. Es regnet.
Als der Regen nachlässt, gehe ich runter und trinke Tee.
Dann wasche ich meine Wäsche und die Sandalen.
Die sind mittlerweile arg ramponiert und fast durchgelaufen. Ich werde sehr bald neue brauchen.
Ich trinke meine Zitrone. Dann wasche ich kurz das Geschirr ab.
Ab 17:40 Uhr bin ich am Tablet und schreibe Tagebuch. Viel später als geplant.
Um 19:20 Uhr gibt es Dinner. Curry Reis mit super leckerem Curry Dal.
Heute waschen Elias und ich das Geschirr ab.
Dann gehe ich Zähne putzen.
Ab etwa 20:45 Uhr schreibe ich weiter Tagebuch. Und lade den Bericht vom 28. August hoch.
Gegen 22 Uhr breche ich die Arbeiten ab.
Als ich dann schlafen will, merke ich dass mein Handy nicht lädt. Die Ladebuchse scheint einen Wackelkontakt zu haben. Es dauert lange, bis es lädt.
Ab etwa 22:30 Uhr schlafe ich.
Es wäre fatal, wenn mein Handy jetzt kaputt geht. Mir ist klar, dass ich sehr bald ein neues brauche. Aber diesen Monat muss es noch gehen. Da ich ja die Jahresgebühr für meine Homepage bezahlen muss, kann ich mir nicht auch noch ein neues Handy kaufen.
In Absprache mit Ishwar bleibe ich bis nächste Woche Donnerstag hier.
Der Tag war geldfrei.
On the farm
Wednesday, 06 September
The alarm clock rings at 6. I have a quick wash.
Then I have breakfast. Today I have rice pudding with Puri. And homemade cookies.
After lunch Elias and I go to the farm. Today I take the camera with me. And take photos.
Today Elias and I get various tasks. (We haven't started the vegetable patch yet).
First we smash up old roof slabs. So that the material can be reused as a substructure.
Then we bring firewood to the front.
It is another very hot day.
Today the workers are back. They work on the walls.
Later we collect and pull the firewood from the slope. It is overgrown.
At 11 we finish work. Today we fill up with drinking water as well. And Elias showers me off again.
Then cement is delivered. On my spontaneous initiative, Elias and I carry the sacks in. Afterwards he showers me off again.
Then we walk back to the house. Halfway there, Ishwar gives us a lift on his moped.
Later I "shower". And soak my laundry from today. I also roll up the dry laundry. It's great to have all my clothes washed again.
For lunch I have rice pudding, puri and cookies again.
After lunch I take a nap.
I sleep deeply and soundly. Much longer than I wanted.
At 16:30 I wake up. It is raining.
When the rain lets up, I go downstairs and drink tea.
Then I wash my clothes and sandals.
By now they are badly battered and almost worn out. I will need new ones very soon.
I drink my lemon. Then I briefly wash the dishes.
From 17:40 I am at the tablet and write my diary. Much later than planned.
At 19:20 I have dinner. Curry rice with super delicious curry dal.
Today Elias and I wash the dishes.
Then I go to brush my teeth.
From about 20:45 I continue writing the diary. And upload the report from 28 August.
Around 10 pm I stop the work.
As I am about to go to sleep, I notice that my mobile phone is not charging. The charging socket seems to have a loose contact. It takes a long time for it to charge.
From about 22:30 I sleep.
It would be fatal if my mobile phone broke now. I realise that I need a new one very soon. But it still has to work this month. Since I have to pay the annual fee for my homepage, I cannot buy a new mobile phone as well.
In agreement with Ishwar, I will stay here until next week on Thursday.
The day was free of money.
