Heute läuft der Ventilator durch.
Nachts hab ich heftige Muskelkrämpfe im linken Bein. Das liegt meiner Meinung nach daran, dass ich mich seit Wochen vegetarisch ernähre. Ich sollte tatsächlich mal wieder Fleisch essen. Die Einladung von meinem Facebook Bekannten ist eine gute Gelegenheit dazu.
Etwa um 7 wache ich auf. Ich dusche unter dem Wasserhahn.
Später gehe ich runter.
Zum Frühstück bekomme ich wieder Paratha.
Etwa um 9:30 Uhr gehe ich zur Farm. Ich bin mit dem Nachbarn verabredet. Erstmal werde ich zum Essen eingeladen. Reis, Roti und viel Gemüse aus eigenem Anbau. Es ist sehr lecker. Danach bin ich pappsatt. Ich hatte ja kurz vorher erst gefrühstückt.
Dann gehe rüber zum Hotel von den Nachbarn. Wenn ich das nächste mal hier bin, kann ich auch dort unterkommen.
Später bin ich wieder im Restaurant.
Auch dieser Tag ist wieder sehr heiß. Stundenlang ist der Strom weg. Und auch mein Internet geht nicht.
Ich schwitze…. Mache nichts weiter, als warten, dass der Strom und die Ventilatoren wieder gehen.
Zwischendurch dusche ich unter dem Wasserhahn.
Abends chatte ich mit Vanessa.
Später bekomme ich Essen. Eine große Portion gemischtes Gemüse.
Heute übernehme ich die Kasse erst ab etwa 20 Uhr.
Um 23:30 Uhr habe ich Feierabend. Heute bekomme ich Masala Dosa mit Panier Füllung.
Ab etwa 0:15 Uhr bin ich in meinem Zimmer. Ich wasche Wäsche für morgen. Und esse noch Knoblauch. Als ich dann ab etwa 1 Uhr schlafen will, fällt der Strom wieder aus.
…..
Auch heute ist mehrmals und teilweise lange der Strom ausgefallen. Und damit auch die Ventilatoren.
Another hot day
Tuesday, 29 August
Today the fan runs through.
At night I have severe muscle cramps in my left leg. I think it's because I've been eating a vegetarian diet for weeks. I really should eat meat again. The invitation from my Facebook friend is a good opportunity to do so.
I wake up at about 7. I take a shower under the tap.
Later I go downstairs.
For breakfast I get paratha again.
About 9:30 I go to the farm. I have an appointment with the neighbour. First I am invited for dinner. Rice, roti and lots of home-grown vegetables. It is very tasty. Afterwards I am stuffed. I had just had breakfast before.
Then I go over to the neighbours' hotel. Next time I'm here, I can stay there too.
Later I am back at the restaurant.
This day is very hot again. The electricity is out for hours. And my internet doesn't work either.
I sweat.... I do nothing but wait for the electricity and the fans to work again.
In between, I take a shower under the tap.
In the evening I chat with Vanessa.
Later I get dinner. A large portion of mixed vegetables.
Today I don't take over the till until about 8pm.
At 11:30 pm I finish work. Today I get masala dosa with breadcrumbs.
From about 0:15 am I am in my room. I wash clothes for tomorrow. And eat some garlic. When I want to go to sleep from about 1 am, the power goes off again.

Today, too, the power went out several times and sometimes for a long time. And with it the fans.
