Nachts hab ich Durchfall. Ich denke, dass ich das Chicken nicht vertragen habe.
Aber ansonsten schlafe ich gut. Und Mückenfrei.
Um 4:30 Uhr klingelt der Wecker. ich dusche mich wieder kurz ab. Ab 5 arbeite ich.
Heute streiche ich das untere Treppengeländer. Etwa um 7 ist kurze Pause. Danach
arbeite ich noch bis 9 weiter. Dann gibt es Frühstück. Heute Roti mit Dal. Nach dem Essen „dusche“ ich ausgiebig. Und wasche meine Schuhe. Zum Wäsche waschen reicht mein Duschgel nicht mehr.
Etwa um 10:45 Uhr gehe ich raus. Heute ist es sehr heiß. Ich will in die nächste Kleinstadt Sidhauli fahren, um Duschgel und Feuchttücher zu kaufen. Das sind etwa 12 km. Beim Restaurant halte ich kurz an. Kaufe 1 Flasche Trinkwasser für unterwegs. Dann gehe ich los. Ich hoffe, dass mich jemand mitnimmt. Oder ein Bus vorbei kommt. Und tatsächlich! Nach wenigen Minuten hält ein Roller an. Der Fahrer nimmt mich bis nach Sidhauli mit. Hier gibt es mehrere Geschäfte. Und viele Streetfood Stände. Erstmal trinke ich frisch gepressten Zitronensaft. Dann mache ich mich auf die Suche nach einem Supermarkt. Nach wenigen Minuten werde ich von einem jungen Mann angesprochen. Er sagt, dass es hier keinen Supermarkt gibt. Bzw. der nur an 2 Tagen in der Woche geöffnet hat. Duschgel zu bekommen wird schwierig. Er lädt mich auf einen Tee ein. Später suche ich ein Geschäft, wo ich Duschgel und Feuchttücher kaufen kann. Das ist zum ersten Mal auf meiner Reise schwierig. Irgendwann komme ich an einem kleinen Shop der Kosmetikartikel verkauft, vorbei. Hier gibt es Duschgel und Feuchttücher.
Später treffe ich den jungen Mann und seine Freunde wieder. Sie empfehlen mir eine Pizzeria, wo es Eiscafé gibt. Und der kostet nur 70 Rupies. Ich gebe den Jungs einen Eiscafé aus, den sie sich teilen.
Etwa um 14:30 Uhr fahr ich mit Bus zurück. Allerdings kann der Bus bei der Farm nicht anhalten. Ich steige im nächsten Ort aus. Und gehe etwa 1 km zurück.
Ab etwa 15:15 Uhr bin ich wieder auf der Farm. Ich bin total durchgeschwitzt. Und „dusche“ erstmal. Dann ruhe ich mich aus. Um 17:15 Uhr gehe ich zum Restaurant von Dinesh. Heute esse ich auf seine Empfehlung Panier Manchurian. Es ist super lecker! Dann wollen Dinesh und ich eigentlich mit Moped zu ihm fahren. Aber etwa um 18:30 Uhr fängt es heftig an zu regnen. Damit hat es sich erledigt. Ich warte noch den Regen ab. Und gehe dann zurück.
Ab etwa 19:45 Uhr bin ich wieder auf der Farm. Ich schreibe Tagebuch.
Um 20:30 Uhr breche ich das aber ab. Ich bin müde. Und lege mich hin.
Später stehe ich nochmal auf. Putze Zähne. Und creme mich wieder gründlich mit Mückenschutz ein.
Ab etwa 21:30 Uhr schlafe ich.

I have diarrhoea at night. I think I didn't tolerate the chicken.
But otherwise I sleep well. And mosquito-free.
At 4:30 the alarm clock rings. I take another short shower. From 5 I work.
Today I paint the lower banister. At about 7 there is a short break. After that
I work until 9. Then I have breakfast. Today roti with dal. After the meal I "shower" extensively. And wash my shoes. My shower gel is not enough for washing clothes.
At about 10:45 I go outside. It is very hot today. I want to go to the next small town Sidhauli to buy shower gel and wet wipes. That is about 12 km. I stop briefly at the restaurant. Buy 1 bottle of drinking water for the road. Then I start walking. I hope that someone will give me a lift. Or a bus will come by. And sure enough! After a few minutes, a scooter stops. The driver takes me to Sidhauli. There are several shops here. And many street food stalls. First I drink freshly squeezed lemon juice. Then I start looking for a supermarket. After a few minutes I am approached by a young man. He says that there is no supermarket here. Or rather, it is only open two days a week. It will be difficult to get shower gel. He invites me for tea. Later I look for a shop where I can buy shower gel and wet wipes. This is difficult for the first time on my journey. Eventually I pass a small shop selling cosmetics. Here I can buy shower gel and wet wipes.
Later I meet the young man and his friends again. They recommend a pizzeria where they have ice cream. And it only costs 70 rupees. I buy the boys an ice cream cone, which they share.
Around 14:30 I return by bus. However, the bus cannot stop at the farm. I get off at the next village. And walk back about 1 km.
From about 15:15 I am back at the farm. I am totally sweaty. And "shower" first. Then I rest. At 17:15 I go to Dinesh's restaurant. Today I eat Panier Manchurian on his recommendation. It is super delicious! Then Dinesh and I actually want to go to him by moped. But around 18:30 it starts to rain heavily. That's the end of it. I wait for the rain to stop. And then go back.
From about 19:45 I am back at the farm. I write my diary.
But at 20:30 I stop. I am tired. And go to bed.
Later I get up again. Brush my teeth. And put on mosquito repellent again.
From about 9.30 pm I sleep.
