Heute wache ich erst gegen 9 auf. Erstmal gehe ich duschen.
Sun lädt mich zum Frühstück ein. Er hat schon eingekauft und ein richtig gutes Frühstück für uns gemacht.
In der Hostel Küche frühstücken wir gemeinsam mit anderen Gästen. Dabei komme ich unter anderen mit Yana ins Gespräch. Sie und ihre Freundin Nastia kommen aus Minsk (Belarus)
Die beiden sind per Anhalter auf dem Weg in die Türkei (mit Abstecher nach Armenien)
In der Türkei wollen sie auf dem Fernwanderweg Lycian Way wandern. Yana kann englisch. Wir unterhalten uns sehr gut. Heute wollen die beiden Jerewan erkunden. Sie waren auch nur 1 Nacht in diesem Hostel. Und wollen sich heute Abend eine neue Unterkunft suchen.
Ich wollte eigentlich heute eigentlich zu einem Campingplatz außerhalb von Jerewan fahren.
Aber bei dem Gespräch mit Yana ergibt sich, dass wir heute spontan zu 3. In die Stadt gehen.
Ich fahre dann morgen zum Campingplatz.
Wir unterhalten uns so lange, dass die Zeit zum auschecken knapp wird. Die beiden helfen mir dann das Fahrrad und mein Gepäck runter zu Tragen. Sie stellen ihr Gepäck hier im Hostel unter. Ich belade mein Fahrrad. Dann gehen wir gegen 13 Uhr los.
Es wird bei bei bestem Wetter ein toller Tag in Jerewan.
Unter anderem sind wir im „Food Court“ einem Lebensmittelzentrum mit Supermarkt und Restaurants. Hier essen wir Eis.
Bei einer der vielen Wechselstuben wechsle ich meine georgischen Lari in Dollar.
Für 215 GEL bekomme ich 65 Dollar. (Laut Umrechnungskurs vom 17.9. entsprechen .215 GEL 76,25 US-Dollar)
Wir bummeln kreuz und quer durch die Stadt. Dabei unterhalten Yana und ich uns sehr gut.
Zwischendurch suchen wir ein Hostel für heute Nacht. Im N1 Hostel sind 3 Betten frei. Um etwa 15:30 Uhr kommen wir dort an. Und es ist sehr günstig. Wir werden im Schlafsaal untergebracht. Und richten uns kurz ein. Ich lasse mein Fahrrad hier. Dann gehen wir zurück zum Avenue Hostel.
Um etwa 17:30 Uhr kommen wir an einem Geschäft für Campingausrüstung vorbei.
Ich kaufe mir einen Gaskocher und eine Gaskartusche. Sowie einen Adapter.
In diesem Geschäft gibt es sehr gute Ausrüstungsgegenstände. Unter anderem hochwertige und teure Schuhe, Zelte und Schlafsack. Aber ich hab ja grad ein Zelt und Schuhe gekauft. Und kein Geld für weitere Neuanschaffungen.
Etwa um 21:30 Uhr sind wir wieder im N1 Hostel.
Später gehen wir noch mal los. Wieder zu dem Food Court. Etwa um 22:30 Uhr essen wir dort.
Gegen Mitternacht sind wir zurück im Hostel. Ich trinke noch meine Zitrone mit heißem Wasser. Heute teile ich sie mit Yana.
Ab etwa 0:30 Uhr schlafe ich. Wieder in einem Hochbett.
Ich hatte heute folgende Ausgaben:
Limonade: 150 AMD
2x Smootie: 2300 AMD
2× Eis: 1800 AMD
Kakao: 750 AMD
Hostel Übernachtung: 2600 AMD
Gaskocher: 16.000 AMD + Adapter 2900 AMD + Gaskartusche 3000 AMD = 21.900 AMD (Ich bekomme 900 AMD Rabatt. Und bezahle nur 21.000 AMD) 52,69€
Essen: 1860 AMD
Wechselgebühren: 11,25 Dollar = 11,23€
Gebühr Geldautomat: 4,75€
Gesamt: ca. 30.460 AMD (ca. 76,42€) +11,23€ + 4,75€ = ca. 92,40€
Einige Ausgaben sind nur ungefähr. Oftmals habe ich keine Quittung bekommen, bzw. es nicht sofort aufgeschrieben. Und kann mich später nicht mehr genau daran erinnern.
Wir sind heute insgesamt etwa 16 km durch Jerewan gelaufen.
Es war ein toller Tag!
Ich bin zur Zeit über Facebook wieder im Kontakt mit Gosia und Javier. Die beiden hatte ich ja in der Türkei kennengelernt. Sie sind jetzt ebenfalls in Armenien. Zur Zeit auf einem Campingplatz etwa 30 km außerhalb von Jerewan.
Luca und Bianca sind auch dort.
Da das Leben in Jerewan sehr teuer ist, werde ich morgen ebenfalls für einige Tage dorthin fahren. Da kann ich abwarten, wie sich die Lage an der Grenze entwickelt. Und an meinem Blog arbeiten.
A great day in Yerevan

Today I wake up around 9. First I take a shower.
Sun invites me to breakfast. He has already done the shopping and made a really good breakfast for us.
In the hostel kitchen we have breakfast together with other guests. I get to talk to Yana, among others. She and her friend Nastia come from Minsk (Belarus).
They are hitchhiking on their way to Turkey (with a detour to Armenia).
In Turkey, they want to hike the long-distance Lycian Way. Yana knows English. We have a very good conversation. Today they want to explore Yerevan. They only spent one night in this hostel. They want to look for a new place to stay tonight.
I actually wanted to go to a campsite outside Yerevan today.
But during the conversation with Yana, it turns out that the three of us spontaneously go into town today.
I'll go to the campsite tomorrow.
We talk for so long that we run out of time to check out. The two of them help me to carry the bike and my luggage downstairs. They put their luggage here in the hostel. I load my bike. Then we leave at about 13h.
It is a great day in Yerevan with great weather.
Among other things, we go to the "Food Court", a food centre with a supermarket and restaurants. Here we eat ice cream.
At one of the many exchange offices I change my Georgian Lari into dollars.
For 215 GEL I get 65 dollars. (According to the exchange rate of 17.9., .215 GEL equals 76.25 US dollars).
We stroll around the city. Yana and I have a good chat.
In between we look for a hostel for tonight. There are 3 beds free at the N1 Hostel. We arrive there at about 15:30. And it is very cheap. We are put up in the dormitory. And settle in briefly. I leave my bike here. Then we walk back to the Avenue Hostel.
At about 17:30 we pass a shop for camping equipment.
I buy a gas cooker and a gas cartridge. As well as an adapter.
In this shop there is very good equipment. Among other things, high-quality and expensive shoes, tents and sleeping bags. But I just bought a tent and shoes. And no money for further new purchases.
Around 9:30 pm we are back at the N1 Hostel.
Later we go out again. Again to the food court. Around 22:30 we eat there.
Around midnight we are back at the hostel. I drink my lemon with hot water. Today I share it with Yana.
From about 0:30 I sleep. Again in a bunk bed.
I had the following expenses today:
Lemonade: 150 AMD

Some expenses are only approximate. Often I didn't get a receipt or didn't write it down immediately. And can't remember it exactly later.
We walked a total of about 16 km through Yerevan today.
It was a great day!
I am currently in contact with Gosia and Javier again via Facebook. I met them both in Turkey. They are now also in Armenia. At the moment they are on a campsite about 30 km outside Yerevan.
Luca and Bianca are also there.
Since life in Yerevan is very expensive, I will also go there tomorrow for a few days. I can wait and see how the situation at the border develops. And work on my blog.
