Auf dem Campingplatz - Zusammenfassung meiner Arbeitswoche

<Das war der Montag

Dienstag, 26. Juli

Es ist ein normaler Arbeitstag auf dem Campingplatz.

Morgens lade ich den Blogeintrag von gestern hoch. Ich nehme mir vor, jetzt mein Tagebuch und den Blog immer aktuell zu halten. Die Blogeinträge fasse ich hier auf dem Campingplatz kürzer.

Heute gibt es wieder ein super gutes Frühstück.

Vormittags arbeite ich wieder an dem Damm im Fluss.

Das gestaute Wasser ist sehr schmutzig. Zum einen weil es vor dem Damm steht. Und im Damm wurde ein Netz eingebaut. Darin hat sich viel Dreck verfangen. Ich entferne es. Und schaffe kleine Lücken (Abflüsse) im Damm. So kann etwas Wasser fließen. Und es steht nicht mehr.

Gegen Mittag reist Saga schon wieder so. Wir machen noch ein Gruppenfoto.

Nach dem Mittagesse übernehme ich den Abwaschdienst. Das dauert heute sehr lange. Um 17 Uhr ist alles abgewaschen, sauber gemacht und aufgeräumt. Dann bringe ich noch den Bioabfall zum Kompost. Anschließend habe ich Feierabend.

Ich lege mich in eine der Hängematten und telefoniere über WhatsApp mit Freunden in Deutschland. Etwa um 17:30 Uhr fängt es an zu regnen.

Heute Abend gibt es Grillfleisch. Und Geburtstagskuchen für Max.

Nach dem Essen verabschiede ich mich in mein Zelt. Hier verbringe ich den Abend. Ich ruhe mich aus, bin hei Facebook und chatte mit Freunden.

Um 22:30 Uhr schreibe ich den Tagebucheintrag von heute. Um 23 Uhr ist es wieder aktuell.

Jetzt gewittert es.

Ich trinke noch meine Zitrone. Und schlafe ab etwa 24:45 Uhr.

Mittwoch, 27. Juli

Auch dieser Mittwoch ist ein normaler Arbeitstag.

Ich arbeitete heute voll durch.

Bach dem super guten Frühstück übernehme ich den Abwaschdienst. Direkt im Anschluss arbeite ich mit Richard und Max an den Tipi Zelten. Wir ziehen zu 3. Bei 2 Zelten die Plane neu auf.

Um 13 Uhr ist Mittagspause. Ab 14 Uhr arbeiten Richard und ich weiter. Wir befestigen bei beiden Zelten die Plane neu. Dann tqckern wir das Klettverschlussband beim 1. Zelt neu an.

Um 18:45 Uhr mache ich Feierabend.

Heute sind neue Volunteers angereist. Valeria aus Russland. Und Julia und Tilman aus Deutschland. Die beiden sind auch mit dem Fahrrad hierher gefahren. Sie sind erst seit April unterwegs. Reisen also viel schneller als ich. Auch sie wollen in hier aus nach Armenien und den Iran.

Nach dem Abendessen sitzen wir noch lange zusammen. Und unterhalten uns. Julia gibt mir Tipps für das Iran Visum. Sie sagt auch, dass für die Einreise in den Iran eine Krankenversicherung Pflicht ist. Das könnte für mich problematisch werden. Ich hab zwar noch die Auslandskrankenversicherung.  Die läuft allerdings bald auf. Und ich möchte sie eigentlich nicht verlängern.

Gegen 22:45 Uhr verabschiede ich mich in mein Zelt. Ich schreibe noch kurz den Tagebucheintrag von heute. Um 23:30 Uhr ist es wieder aktuell.

Dann trinke ich meine Zitrone.

Ab etwa 23:45 Uhr schlafe ich.

 

Der Tag war geldfrei.

 

Donnerstag, 28. Juli

Heute Vormittag Tacker ich mit Richard im 2. Zelt den Reißverschluss am. Im Zelt ist es sehr heiß.

Die Arbeit ist schweißtreibend.

Von 13 – 15 Uhr ist Mittagspause. Nachmittags arbeite ich beim Restauranteingang. Ich schaufele zunächst Steine und Schotter an die Seite. Dann lege ich ein Drainagerohr frei. Das „funktioniert„ nicht. Ich finde aber trotz intensiven Grabe Arbeiten das 2. Ende nicht.

Außerdem soll ich den Eingangsbereich begradigen. Ich zeichne den Schnitt an. (Der Schnitt kann wegen der Staubentwicklung erst gemacht werden, wenn die Tür eingebaut ist)

Um 19 Uhr mache ich Feierabend. Morgen werde ich hier weiter arbeiten.

Abends spielen wir noch das russische Kartenspiel Durak. Etwa um 22 Uhr verabschiede ich mich in mein Zelt. Ich schreibe noch kurz Tagebuch. Und trinke meine Zitrone. 

Ab etwa 23:30 Uhr schlafe ich.

 

Der Tag war geldfrei.

 

Gleb hat mir heute angeboten, dass ich auch als richtiger Arbeiter für Bezahlung arbeiten kann.

 

Freitag, 29. Juli

Heute ist ein sehr langes Meeting.

Später arbeite ich wieder beim Restauranteingang.

Nach Hinweisen der Eigentümer finde ich das Ende vom Drainagerohr.

Ich lege es frei. Stelle dann die arbeiten daran aber ein. Es soll ein neues, viel längeres Rohr verlegt werden. 

Als nächstes arbeite ich mit Richard im Restaurant. Wir räumen die Werkzeuge auf,  bringen den Müll raus und fegen den Boden. Dann bereiten wir das streichen der Wand vor. Dazu säubern wir den Fußbodensockel. Eigentlich soll morgen gestrichen werden. Wir sollten dafür den kompletten Saal staubfrei säubern. Allerdings verzögern sich die Vorarbeiten noch. Und es kann noch nicht gestrichen werden.

Um 19 Uhr machen wir Feierabend.

Heute gibt es wieder selbstgemachte Pizza.

Später sitzen wir am Lagerfeuer zusammen. Unter anderem spielen wir Werwolf.

Etwa um 0:40 Uhr verabschiede ich mich in mein Zelt. Wie immer trinke ich meine Zitrone. Und schlafe ab etwa 1 Uhr.

 

Ich habe heute kein Geld ausgegeben.

Meine Rente wurde ausgezahlt.

 

Heute sind Jutta und Lucas von ihrer Fahrradtour nach Armenien zurück gekommen.

Tuesday, 26 July

It's a normal working day at the campsite.

In the morning I upload yesterday's blog entry. I resolve to keep my diary and the blog up to date now. I keep the blog entries shorter here at the campsite.

Today I have another super good breakfast.

In the morning I work on the dam in the river again.

The dammed water is very dirty. Firstly, because it is in front of the dam. And a net has been installed in the dam. A lot of dirt has got caught in it. I remove it. And create small gaps (drains) in the dam. So some water can flow. And it no longer stands.

Around noon, Saga is travelling like this again. We take a group photo.

After lunch I take over the washing-up duty. It takes a long time today. At 5 pm everything is washed, cleaned and tidied up. Then I take the organic waste to the compost. Then it's my end of the day.

I lie down in one of the hammocks and make WhatsApp calls to friends in Germany. Around 5:30 pm it starts to rain.

Tonight we have barbecue meat. And birthday cake for Max.

After dinner I say goodbye to my tent. Here I spend the evening. I rest, check Facebook and chat with friends.

At 10:30 pm I write today's diary entry. At 11 pm it is up to date again.

Now it is thunderstorming.

I drink my lemon. And sleep from about 24:45h.

I had the following expenses today:

ATM fee: 6,04€.

Wednesday, 27 July

This Wednesday is also a normal working day.

I worked full time today.

After a super good breakfast I take over the washing-up duty. Immediately afterwards I work with Richard and Max on the tipi tents. Three of us put up new tarpaulins for two of the tents.

At 1 pm we have lunch break. From 2 pm Richard and I continue working. We re-fasten the tarpaulin on both tents. Then we reattach the Velcro tape on the 1st tent.

At 6.45 pm I call it a day.

New volunteers have arrived today. Valeria from Russia. And Julia and Tilman from Germany. They have also cycled here. They have only been on the road since April. So they are travelling much faster than I am. They also want to go to Armenia and Iran from here.

After dinner we sit together for a long time. And talk. Julia gives me tips on the Iran visa. She also tells me that health insurance is compulsory for entry into Iran. That could be problematic for me. I still have health insurance abroad.  But it will expire soon. And I don't really want to extend it.

At around 22:45 I say goodbye to my tent. I write the diary entry from today. At 11:30 pm it is up to date again.

Then I drink my lemon.

From about 23:45 I sleep.

The day was free of money.

Thursday, 28 July

This morning I staple the zip in the 2nd tent with Richard. It is very hot in the tent.

The work is sweaty.

From 1 - 3 pm it is lunch break. In the afternoon I work at the restaurant entrance. First I shovel stones and gravel to the side. Then I uncover a drainage pipe. It doesn't "work". Despite intensive digging, I can't find the second end.

I also have to straighten the entrance area. I mark out the cut. (Because of the dust, the cut can only be made when the door is installed).

At 7 pm I finish work. Tomorrow I will continue working here.

In the evening we play the Russian card game Durak. At about 10 pm I say goodbye to my tent. I write a short diary. And drink my lemon. 

From about 23:30 I sleep.

The day was free of money.

Gleb offered me today that I can also work as a real labourer for pay.

Friday, 29 July

Today is a very long meeting.

Later I work at the restaurant entrance again.

After some advice from the owners, I find the end of the drainage pipe.

I uncover it. But then I stop working on it. A new, much longer pipe is to be laid. 

Next I work with Richard in the restaurant. We clean up the tools, take out the rubbish and sweep the floor. Then we prepare to paint the wall. To do this, we clean the base of the floor. Actually, the painting is supposed to be done tomorrow. We should clean the whole hall dust-free for that. However, the preparatory work is still delayed. And it can't be painted yet.

We finish at 7 pm.

Today we have homemade pizza again.

Later we sit around the campfire. Among other things, we play werewolf.

At around 0:40 a.m. I say goodbye to my tent. As usual, I drink my lemon. And sleep from about 1 am.

I haven't spent any money today.

My pension has been paid out.

Today Jutta and Lucas returned from their bicycle tour to Armenia.
