Samstag, 23. Juli
Heute wache ich etwa um 8 auf. Ich dusche und rasiere mich gründlich. Um 9:30 Uhr gehe ich frühstücken. Heute fahren wir zu 6. nach Tiflis.
Um etwa 10:30 Uhr fährt Nikita uns nach Assureti zur Hauptstraße. Wir warten auf den Minibus. Nach kurzer Zeit kommt ein Mann vorbei. Er hat extra für uns Eis gekauft. Und schenkt jedem ein Eis. Das ist eine tolle Überraschung!
Etwa um 12 kommt der Bus. Er ist sehr voll.
Etwa um 13:30 Uhr sind wir in Tiflis. Wir fahren mit der U Bahn ins Zentrum. Die U Bahn ist sehr tief unter der Erde. Nach meinem Gefühl viel tiefer als zum Beispiel in Hannover, wo ich eine Zeitlang täglich U Bahn gefahren bin.
Im Stadtzentrum von Alt Tiblisi verbringen Max, Erin und ich bei bestem Sommerwetter einen tollen Nachmittag.
Später treffen wir uns mit Natalie, ihrem Mann Richard und Saga, die schon früher nach Tiflis gefahren sind.
Gegen Abend fahren wir mit der U Bahn zurück zum Busbahnhof.
Etwa um 18:40 Uhr kommen wir dort an. Hier müssen wir sehr lange auf den Minibus nach Assureti warten. Auch dieser Bus ist sehr voll. Etwa um 20:45 Uhr sind wir wieder in Assureti. Dort gehen wir zuerst in den kleinen Dorfladen. Dann in eine kleine Weinkellerei. Es ist sehr interessant für mich, die großen Weinfässer zu sehen.
Um etwa 22:15 Uhr sind wir zurück auf dem Campingplatz.
Abends sitzen wir im Aufenthaltsbereich zusammen. Es ist ein guter Abend. Später wird es deutlich kühler.
Heute schlafe ich wieder im Bett.
Ab etwa 0:40 Uhr schlafe ich.
Ich hatte heute folgende Ausgaben:
Busfahrt nach Tiflis und zurück: 8 GEL (je 4 GEL)
Frisch gepresster Saft & Cookie: 11 GEL
Eiskaffee: 8,50 GEL
USB Ladekabel für Handy: 45 GEL
Briefmarken: 9,40 GEL (2 x 4,70 GEL)
Essen: 35 GEL
Kosmetikartikel (Zahnpasta, Rasierschaum): 18,40 GEL
1 l Orangensaft: 9,50 GEL
Käse: 2 GEL
Gesamt: 146,80 (48,75€)
Ich hab heute (für meine Verhältnisse) recht viel Geld ausgegeben. Und bin jetzt fast pleite.
Aber auf dem Campingplatz brauche ich ja kein Geld. Und es ist bald wieder Monatsanfang.
Ich werde noch einen Monat auf dem Campingplatz bleiben. Um Geld zu sparen.
Wenn die Korrekturarbeiten von meinem Buch im August fertig werden, versuche ich mein Buch noch von hier aus zu veröffentlichen. Sonst verschiebe ich die Veröffentlichung auf den Winter.
Anfang September fahre ich weiter.
Durch Armenien werde ich zügig durchfahren.
Den Winter verbringe ich im Iran.
Another great day in Tiblisi
Saturday, 23 July
Today I wake up at about 8. I shower and shave thoroughly. At 9:30 I go for breakfast. Today 6 of us are going to Tbilisi.
At about 10:30 Nikita drives us to Assureti to the main road. We wait for the minibus. After a short while, a man comes by. He has bought ice cream especially for us. And gives us each an ice cream. It's a great surprise!
At about 12 the bus arrives. It is very full.
At about 13:30 we are in Tbilisi. We take the underground to the centre. The underground is very deep underground. I have a feeling it is much deeper than in Hanover, for example, where I took the underground every day for a while.
In the city centre of Old Tiblisi, Max, Erin and I spend a great afternoon in the best summer weather.
Later we meet up with Natalie, her husband Richard and Saga, who have already travelled to Tbilisi earlier.
Towards evening we take the underground back to the bus station.
We arrive there at about 18:40. Here we have to wait a very long time for the minibus to Assureti. This bus is also very full. At about 20:45 we are back in Assureti. There we first go to the small village shop. Then to a small winery. It is very interesting for me to see the big wine barrels.
At about 22:15 we are back at the campsite.
In the evening we sit together in the lounge area. It is a good evening. Later it gets much cooler.
Today I sleep in bed again.
From about 0:40 I sleep.
I had the following expenses today:
Bus ride to Tbilisi and back: 8 GEL (4 GEL each).
Freshly squeezed juice & cookie: 11 GEL
Iced coffee: 8,50 GEL
USB charging cable for mobile phone: 45 GEL
Stamps: 9,40 GEL (2 x 4,70 GEL)

Cosmetics (toothpaste, shaving foam): 18.40 GEL

I spent quite a lot of money today (by my standards). And now I'm almost broke.
But I don't need money at the campsite. And it's soon the beginning of the month again.
I'm going to stay at the campsite for another month. To save money.
When the proofreading of my book is done in August, I'll try to publish my book from here. Otherwise I will postpone the publication until winter.
I will continue my journey at the beginning of September.
I will pass through Armenia quickly.
I will spend the winter in Iran.
