Heute gibt es ein super gutes Frühstück.
Vormittags entfernen Max und ich einen alten Eisenschornstein vom Restaurantgebäude.
In der Mittagspause baue ich mein neues Zelt auf. Ray hilft mir. Hinter der Sauna entdecke ich einen tollen, abgeschiedenen Platz im Schatten.
Allerdings ist das Zelt „made in China“. Es ist schlecht verarbeitet. Einige Nähte sind offen. Und ein Reißverschluss geht schon mein Aufbau kaputt. Ich bin enttäuscht. Und ärgere mich, dass ich mal wieder teuren Schrott gekauft habe. Mir ist jetzt schon klar, dass dieses Zelt nicht lange halten wird. Aber erstmal wird es gehen. Zur Not mache ich später aus 2 Zelten eins. Mein (altes) gutes Zelt behalte ich auf alle Fälle.
Umtauschen ist nicht möglich. In Georgien gibt es keine Garantie. Das sehe ich allerdings positiv. Wenn ich das Zelt zurück gegeben hätte, würde es sehr wahrscheinlich entsorgt werden. Das wäre Ressourcen Verschwendung. Ich bin selbst Schuld, dass ich es voreilig gekauft habe, ohne es genauer anzugucken.
Dieser Fehlkauf war mir eine Lehre. In Zukunft werde ich keine Ausrüstungsgegenstände mehr im normalen Handel kaufen. Das nächste Zelt bestelle ich im Netz. Und ich werde mich vorher richtig informieren.
Nikita hilft mir. Wir reparieren den Reißverschluss provisorisch.
Danach breche ich den Aufbau aber erstmal ab. Die Mittagspause ist zu Ende.
Nachmittags helfe ich bei Aufräumarbeiten. Unter anderem sammle ich Müll ein.
Nach dem Abendessen baue ich das Zelt fertig auf. Das gute ist, dass es 2 Eingänge hat. Ich drehe den kaputten Reißverschluss nach hinten. Diesen Eingang benutze ich nicht so oft.
Ein weiterer Vorteil von dem Zelt ist, dass es 2 Vorzelte hat. Dann kann ich vorne und hinten Sachen verstauen. Und es ist innen geräumig. Diese Pluspunkte trösten mich . Ich mache das Beste aus dem Zelt. Und richte mich darin ein. Ich finde einen kleinen grob zusammen gezimmerten „Tisch“ den ich (so lange ich hier bin) als Nachttisch nutzen kann. Und es gibt sogar einen Holzklotz als Hocker.
Da ich jetzt ja nur noch die BW Plane habe, lege ich sie in den Eingang. Damit hab ich zwar keinen doppelten Zeltboden mehr. Aber ich hab ja den Zeltteppich und 2 Matten.
Heute Nacht schlafe ich im Zelt.
Ab etwa 23:50 Uhr schlafe ich.

Today we have a super good breakfast.
In the morning Max and I remove an old iron chimney from the restaurant building.
During the lunch break I put up my new tent. Ray helps me. Behind the sauna I discover a great, secluded spot in the shade.
However, the tent is "made in China". It is poorly made. Some seams are open. And one of the zips breaks during assembly. I am disappointed. And I'm annoyed that I bought expensive junk again. I already know that this tent won't last long. But for now it will do. If need be, I'll make one tent out of two later. I will definitely keep my (old) good tent.
It is not possible to exchange it. There is no guarantee in Georgia. But I see that as a positive thing. If I returned the tent, it would most likely be disposed of. That would be a waste of resources. It's my own fault that I bought it hastily without looking at it more closely.
That bad purchase was a lesson to me. In future, I will not buy any more equipment from normal shops. The next tent I will order on the net. And I will inform myself properly beforehand.
Nikita helps me. We repair the zip provisionally.
But after that I stop setting up for the time being. The lunch break is over.
In the afternoon I help with the clean-up. Among other things, I collect rubbish.
After dinner I finish pitching the tent. The good thing is that it has 2 entrances. I turn the broken zip to the back. I don't use this entrance so often.
Another advantage of the tent is that it has 2 awnings. Then I can stow things in the front and back. And it is spacious inside. These plus points comfort me. I make the best of the tent. And settle in. I find a small "table" roughly put together that I can use (as long as I'm here) as a bedside table. And there is even a wooden block as a stool.
Since I only have the BW tarpaulin now, I put it in the entrance. This means I no longer have a double tent floor. But I have the tent carpet and 2 mats.
Tonight I sleep in the tent.
From about 23:50 I sleep.
