Nachts regnet es hin und wieder leicht. Ich hab meine Schuhe am Fahrrad gelassen. Hab aber keine Lust aufzustehen.
Und Ameisen kommen in mein Zelt. Immer wieder wache ich auf, weil sie auf mir herum krabbeln.
Außerdem rutsche ich nach unten, weil der Boden abschüssig ist. Aber das macht nichts. Ich schlafe mit dem Füßen im Vorzelt.
Um 6 klingelt der Wecker. Es regnet wieder etwas. Hört dann aber auf.
Ich hole meine Schuhe ins Zelt. Sie sind nur leicht feucht. Das macht nichts. Zur Zeit trage ich ja Sandalen.
Als ich das Tablet an mache, sehe ich, dass ich keine Emails mehr empfangen kann. Weil der Speicherplatz voll ist. Ich hab noch nicht genug Fotos aus der Google Cloud gelöscht. Damit werde ich mich später oder bei Gelegenheit befassen.
Es sind noch weitere Spenden eingegangen.
Dann schreibe ich Tagebuch. Wieder ist mein gespeicherter Parkplatz bei Google „verschwunden“
Ich hatte mir den Standort gestern morgen gespeichert. Um zu wissen wie viele km ich gestern gefahren bin. Das Problem mit dem „verschwundenen“ Parkplatz bei Google hatte ich ja schon bei dem Haus in Kvishkheti, wo mein Fahrrad stand. Es ärgert mich, dass ich mich nicht darauf verlassen kann, dass ich einen gespeicherten Standort wieder finde. Ich google das Problem. Finde aber keine brauchbaren Informationen. Sehe aber, dass es eine Funktion gibt, mit der man einstellen kann, wann die Parkzeit abläuft. Ich setze die auf 7 Tage. Vielleicht hängt das damit zusammen.
Irgendwann hab ich keine Lust mehr mich damit zu befassen. Ich investiere nur meine Lebenszeit…
In Zukunft werde ich einfach zusätzlich ein Bildschirmfoto von der Karte machen. Für heute errechne ich die km so.
Bis ich dann weiter schreibe, ist es 7:30 Uhr. Um 8:15 Uhr fängt es wieder an zu regnen. Aber auch das ist nur ein kurzer Schauer.
Zwischendurch entferne ich immer wieder Ameisen aus dem Zelt.
Ab etwa 9 ist eine Kuh Herde mit dem Hirten auf der Wiese unterhalb von meinem Zeltplatz.
Anschließend lade ich den Bericht im Blog hoch. Außerdem lade ich die Fotos von gestern und heute hoch. Um 11:15 Uhr mache ich das Tablet aus. Und bin offline.
Ich packe die Sachen zusammen. Beide das Fahrrad. Und baue mein Zelt ab. Um 14:10 Uhr bin ich startklar. Ich schiebe das Fahrrad bergab über die Wiese bis zum Weg. Und dann zur Straße.
10 Minuten später bin ich wieder auf der Autobahn. Auch heute folge ich ihr den ganzen Nachmittag. Lange Zeit kommt nichts. Keine Tankstelle. Keine Wasserstelle. Nur eine Abfahrt nach der anderen. Ich hab Hunger. Um 15:20 Uhr mache ich Pause bei einer Bushaltestelle. Ich esse Haferflocken mit Schokoballs, Nüssen, Keksen, Kirschen und Wasser. Es schmeckt auch ohne Milch erstaunlich gut.
Gegen 16 Uhr fahre ich weiter.
Etwa 1 Stunde später erreiche ich eine kleine Tankstelle. Aber hier kann man nur sein Auto tanken. Es gibt keinen Shop. Keine Wasserstelle. Nur eine begrenzte Auswahl Süßgetränke. Ich fahr weiter.
Um 17:30 Uhr komme ich zu einer Raststätte. Hier gibt es einen Shop mit Chatschapuri. Von meinem letzten Bargeld kaufe ich verschiedene Sorten Chatschapuri und Cappuccino. Es reicht gerade so. Kartenzahlung ist hier nicht möglich. Ich esse. Den Rest nehme ich mit. Dann wasche ich mich an der Wasserstelle. Und fülle meine Wasservorräte auf.
Um 18:30 Uhr schiebe ich das Rad noch ein Stück weiter. Ich will mir einen Zeltplatz suchen. Das ist hier in Georgien recht einfach. Es gibt unendlich viel Natur. Bei der nächsten Gelegenheit schiebe ich auf eine Wiese. Am Rand ist ein geeigneter Platz. Als ich das Zelt aufbaue, kommt ein Hirte mit einigen Kühen auf die Wiese. Er sieht mich. Beachtet mich aber nicht weiter.
Ab 19:45 Uhr bin ich im Zelt. Ich speichere meinen neuen Standort. Der Parkplatz von heute morgen ist noch da. So ist es einfach zu sehen, wie viele km ich heute gefahren bin.
Ich bin bei Facebook und surfe im Netz.
Zwischendurch esse ich Chatschapuri und Kirschen. Auch hier sind Ameisen.
Um 22:15 Uhr mache ich das Tablet aus.
Ab etwa 23 Uhr schlafe ich.
Meine Zitrone fällt heute wieder aus.
Ich hatte heute folgende Ausgaben:
Essen, Cappuccino: etwa 14,50 GEL (etwa 4,72€)
Ich bin heute 35 km gefahren.
Bis Tiflis sind es noch etwa 30 km.
Ich werde diese Stadt voraussichtlich morgen erreichen.
Auf alle Fälle werde ich morgen die Autobahn verlassen. Ich brauche einen Geldautomaten und will Wäsche waschen.
Highway day 3
Saturday, 18 June
At night it rained lightly from time to time. I left my shoes on the bike. Don't feel like getting up though.
And ants get into my tent. Again and again I wake up because they are crawling on me.
I also slide down because the ground is sloping. But that doesn't matter. I sleep with my feet in the awning.
At 6 the alarm clock rings. It rains a little again. But then it stops.
I get my shoes into the tent. They are only slightly damp. That doesn't matter. I am wearing sandals at the moment.
When I turn on the tablet, I see that I can't receive any more emails. Because the memory is full. I haven't deleted enough photos from the Google Cloud yet. I will deal with that later or when I get a chance.
More donations have come in.
Then I'll write diary. Again, my saved parking space on Google has "disappeared".
I had saved the location yesterday morning. To know how many km I drove yesterday. I already had the problem with the "disappeared" parking space on Google at the house in Kvishkheti where my bike was parked. It annoys me that I can't rely on finding a saved location again. I google the problem. But don't find any useful information. But see that there is a function to set when the parking time expires. I set that to 7 days. Maybe that has something to do with it.
At some point I don't feel like bothering with it. I'm just investing my life time....
In the future, I'll just take an additional screenshot of the map. For today, I'll calculate the km like this.
By the time I continue writing, it's 7:30. At 8:15 it starts to rain again. But even that is only a short shower.
In between I keep removing ants from the tent.
From about 9, there is a herd of cows with the herdsman in the meadow below my campsite.
Afterwards I upload the report to the blog. I also upload the photos from yesterday and today. At 11:15 I turn off the tablet. And am offline.
I pack up the things. Both the bike. And take down my tent. At 14:10 I'm ready to go. I push the bike downhill across the meadow to the path. And then to the road.
10 minutes later I'm back on the motorway. Today, too, I follow it all afternoon. For a long time nothing comes. No petrol station. No water station. Just one exit after the other. I am hungry. At 3:20 pm I take a break at a bus stop. I eat oatmeal with chocolate balls, nuts, biscuits, cherries and water. It tastes surprisingly good even without milk.
Around 4 pm I continue my journey.
About 1 hour later I reach a small petrol station. But here you can only fill up your car. There is no shop. No water station. Only a limited selection of sweet drinks. I drive on.
At 17:30 I come to a rest stop. There is a shop with Chatschapuri. With my last cash I buy different kinds of Hachapuri and cappuccino. It is just enough. Card payment is not possible here. I eat. I take the rest with me. Then I wash myself at the water point. And fill up my water supply.
At 6.30 pm I push the bike a bit further. I want to find a place to camp. That's quite easy here in Georgia. There is an infinite amount of nature. At the next opportunity I push onto a meadow. There is a suitable spot at the edge. As I put up the tent, a shepherd comes onto the meadow with some cows. He sees me. But he pays no attention to me.
From 19:45 I am in the tent. I save my new location. The car park from this morning is still there. So it's easy to see how many kilometres I've driven today.
I am on Facebook and surf the net.
In between I eat chachapuri and cherries. There are ants here as well.
At 10:15 pm I turn off the tablet.
From about 11 pm I sleep.
My lemon fails again today.
I had the following expenses today:
Food, cappuccino: about 14.50 GEL (about 4.72€).
I drove 35 km today.
It is still about 30 km to Tbilisi.
I will probably reach this city tomorrow.
In any case, I will leave the motorway tomorrow. I need an ATM and want to do some laundry.
