Nachts ist es nochmal kalt. Aber warm angezogen und mit der Decke ist es erträglich.
Heute wache ich erst um 8 auf. Wie immer dusche ich erstmal kalt. Und räume mein Zelt auf.
Dann frühstücke ich draußen Müsli mit Obst.
Gegen 11 kümmern Jacob und ich uns um mein Fahrrad. Jacob tauscht den Sattel aus. Wir ersetzen ihn gegen den, den ich in Kroatien gekauft hatte. Den hatte ich ja repariert. Er ist wesentlich besser als der aus Albanien, der mittlerweile auch schon stark abgenutzt ist.
Ich pumpe bei beiden Räder Luft nach. Außerdem entscheide ich mich auf Anraten von Jacob, den Ständer abzubauen. Das Fahrrad steht nicht darauf. Und er löst sich immer wieder. Also ist es unnötiges Gewicht. Die Demontage ist allerdings vorerst nicht möglich, weil die Schraube rund ist.
Wir überlegen, zunächst das Pedal zu verwenden, was ich noch aus Kroatien habe. Aber das ist nicht möglich. Es ist für die linke Seite. Außerdem ist das Gewinde kaputt. Ich entsorge es.
Wir belassen es dabei. Das Pedal kann ich später tauschen.
Die Kette sollte unbedingt erneuert werden. Jacob rät mir, die komplette Schaltung inkl. Gripschaltung am Lenker (Die ist ja noch Original Nexus) zu erneuern. Und auch den Bowdenzug. Sowie die Kassette vom Hinterrad. Schaltung und Kassette hatte ich ja erst in Kroatien erneuert. Aber das ist dann so. Spontan entscheide ich mich, einen neuen hinteren Gepäckträger zu kaufen. Er ist ja schon mehrfach gebrochen und wurde provisorisch repariert.
Jacob bestellt die Teile über einen Freund in Kemer. Insgesamt werden sie etwa 700 Lira kosten. + Lieferung. Außerdem möchte ich Jacob auch etwas geben. Insgesamt plane ich für die Reparatur 1000 Lira ein. Das entspricht etwa 60 €. Und ist für deutsche Verhältnisse sehr günstig.
Da heute Samstag ist, werden die Teile erst Montag hier sein. Das ist in Ordnung. Wir können das Fahrrad dann am Montag reparieren. Ich plane zunächst ein, bis Mittwoch hier zu bleiben. Und bezahle 240 Lira für weitere 4 Nächte.
Tugba kann mir keine Meldeadresse geben. Sie hat das bereits für weitere Personen gemacht. Und die türkische Regierung begrenzt die Zahl der möglichen Personen. Aber sie sagt, dass Jacob diesen Prozess auch gerade gemacht hat. Er kann mir dabei helfen. Und sie empfiehlt mir, dass ich Mehmet fragen kann. Bei ihm waren wir ja bereits. Ich hatte ohnehin vor, ihn um Hilfe zu bitten. Mittlerweile sehe ich das alles entspannt. Ich hab ja noch bis Anfang April Zeit. Es reicht, bis dahin eine Adresse zu haben, und den Prozess zu starten.
Gegen Mittag lädt Anastasia Jacob und mich zum Essen ein. Sie hat aus Kartoffeln Kartoffelbrei gemacht. Und dazu Salat. Und Hähnchenbrust. Es ist super lecker!
Dann ergibt sich die Gelegenheit zu einem tollen Foto. Die Babykatze schläft auf dem großen Hund. Anastasia sitzt daneben. Dieses Bild ist für mich symbolisch für eine friedliche Welt. Ein friedliches miteinander aller Lebewesen.
Später macht Jacob wieder Kaffee für uns. Dazu gibt es super leckeren, frisch gebackenen Kuchen.
Heute ist ein schöner und sonniger Frühlingstag. Nachmittags sind die anderen unterwegs. Ich entscheide mich auf dem Campingplatz zu bleiben. Um in Ruhe an meinem Blog zu arbeiten.
Zunächst wasche ich meine Flaggen. Anastasia gibt mir Waschmittel. Ich schrubbe sie. Erneure dann das Wasser. Und lasse sie noch eine Nacht einweichen.
Ab etwa 14:30 Uhr sitze ich mit Unterbrechungen mit dem Tablet in der Sonne. Und schreibe Tagebuch.
Gegen Abend wird es kälter. Ich gehe dann in die Küche. Dort verbringe ich den Rest des Tages mit den anderen. Wir essen zusammen. Ab etwa 21 Uhr spielen wir wieder Rummikub.
Später trinke meine Zitrone mit heißem Wasser. Etwa um 0:30 Uhr gehe ich in mein Zelt.
Ab 1 Uhr schlafe ich.
Sunderland Vadi - Bike check

It is cold again at night. But warmly dressed and with the blanket it is bearable.
Today I wake up at 8am. As usual, I take a cold shower. And clean up my tent.
Then I have breakfast outside with muesli and fruit.
Around 11, Jacob and I take care of my bike. Jacob changes the saddle. We replace it with the one I bought in Croatia. I had it repaired. It is much better than the one from Albania, which is also very worn by now.
I pump air into both wheels. On Jacob's advice, I also decide to remove the stand. The bike does not stand on it. And it keeps coming loose. So it's unnecessary weight. But dismantling it is not possible for the time being because the screw is round.
We are thinking of using the pedal first, which I still have from Croatia. But that is not possible. It is for the left side. Besides, the thread is broken. I'll get rid of it.
We'll leave it at that. I can change the pedal later.
The chain should definitely be replaced. Jacob advises me to replace the entire gear system, including the grip gear on the handlebars (which is still original Nexus). And also the Bowden cable. And the cassette from the rear wheel. I only replaced the gearstick and cassette in Croatia. But that's the way it is. I spontaneously decide to buy a new rear carrier. It has already broken several times and was repaired temporarily.
Jacob orders the parts through a friend in Kemer. In total they will cost about 700 Lira. + delivery. I also want to give Jacob something. In total I plan to spend 1000 Lira for the repair. That corresponds to about 60 €. And is very cheap by German standards.
Since today is Saturday, the parts won't be here until Monday. That's fine. We can repair the bike on Monday. I plan to stay here until Wednesday. And pay 240 Lira for another 4 nights.
Tugba cannot give me a registration address. She has already done this for other people. And the Turkish government limits the number of possible people. But she says that Jacob has also just done this process. He can help me with it. And she recommends that I can ask Mehmet. After all, we've already been to see him. I was planning to ask him for help anyway. In the meantime, I'm relaxed about it all. I still have until the beginning of April. It's enough to have an address by then and start the process.
Around noon, Anastasia invites Jacob and me to lunch. She has made mashed potatoes. And salad to go with it. And chicken breast. It's super delicious!
Then the opportunity arises for a great photo. The baby cat sleeps on the big dog. Anastasia is sitting next to it. For me, this picture is symbolic of a peaceful world. A peaceful coexistence of all living beings.
Later, Jacob makes coffee for us again. We have super delicious, freshly baked cake to go with it.
Today is a beautiful and sunny spring day. In the afternoon, the others are out and about. I decide to stay at the campsite. To work on my blog in peace.
First I wash my flags. Anastasia gives me detergent. I scrub them. Then I renew the water. And leave them to soak for another night.
From about 14:30 I sit in the sun with my tablet, intermittently. And write a diary.
Towards evening it gets colder. I then go into the kitchen. There I spend the rest of the day with the others. We eat together. From about 9 pm we play Rummikub again.
Later I drink my lemon with hot water. At about 0:30 I go to my tent.
From 1 o'clock I sleep.
