Montag, 11. Oktober
Heute klingelt der Wecker um 7. Ich schreibe gleich morgens im Bett den Tagebucheintrag von Samstag. Dann dusche ich. Heißes fließendes Wasser. Das ist Luxus für mich! Später frühstücke ich Schokoballs mit dem Rest Ayran. Ab etwa Mittag arbeite ich mit Unterbrechungen an meinem Blog. Ich fange an die letzten Berichte und Fotos hochzuladen.
Am frühen Nachmittag verabschieden wir uns von Susi. Sie fährt weiter. Isi hat heute Geburtstag. Nachmittags essen wir Geburtstagstorte und trinken Kaffee. Ich gehe kurz zum nahen Supermarkt. Und kaufe Milch.
Später gehen wir in die Stadt. Wir besichtigen die Woman Academy und die Football Academy. Als wir gerade losgehen, fängt es an zu regnen. Aber wir sind ja biker. Da macht uns das nichts aus.
Auf dem Rückweg gehe ich noch in ein Restaurant. Ich esse Kebap. Zum Nachtisch bekomme ich Künefe. Eine türkische Süßspeise aus Käse (Quark) und Teigfäden mit einer Füllung aus Mandeln und Zuckersirup. Insgesamt bezahle ich nur 45 Lira.
Heute schlafe ich schon um 22 Uhr.
Monday, 11 October
Today the alarm clock rings at 7. I write Saturday's diary entry first thing in the morning in bed. Then I take a shower. Hot running water. That is luxury for me! Later I have breakfast with chocolate balls and the rest of the Ayran. From about noon I work intermittently on my blog. I start uploading the last reports and photos.
In the early afternoon we say goodbye to Susi. She continues her journey. It is Isi's birthday today. In the afternoon we eat birthday cake and drink coffee. I go to the nearby supermarket. And buy some milk.
Later we go into town. We visit the Woman Academy and the Football Academy. Just as we leave, it starts to rain. But we are bikers. We don't mind.
On the way back I go to a restaurant. I eat kebap. For dessert I get künefe. A Turkish dessert made of cheese (curd) and dough threads with a filling of almonds and sugar syrup. All in all, I only pay 45 Lira.
Today I am already asleep at 10pm.
