Um 6:30 Uhr klingelt der Wecker. Als erstes lade ich den Foto Bericht von Sonntag hoch. Dann dusche ich. Gegen 9 wird draußen das Frühstück serviert. Als ich am Essen bin, fängt es ganz leicht an zu regnen. Aber es sind nur ein paar Tropfen.
Nach dem Frühstück packe ich mein Fahrrad bis auf die Satteltaschen ab. Um 10 fahr ich los.
Zunächst in die Nachbarschaft. Zur Bar von Edi. Dort verbringe ich mit ihm und seinen Freunden den Vormittag. Wir unterhalten uns sehr gut auf Englisch. Und teilweise auf deutsch. Ich erzähle von meiner Reise. Es ist ein angenehmer Vormittag in der Bar.
Mittags fahr ich weiter. Zunächst ins Zentrum von Shkodra. Nach einiger Suche finde ich einen Geldautomaten. Da im guest house nur Barzahlung möglich ist, hat Viktor mir das Geld auf mein Konto überwiesen. Ich hebe 5000 albanische Lek ab. (Etwa 40€)
Heute möchte ich die Ruine der Festung Rozafa besichtigen. Diese große mittelalterliche Burg ist auf einem Hügel vor der Stadt. Es ist ein Fahrweg von 4 km. Der Eintritt kostet 400 Lek. Diese Ruine ist wirklich sehenswert. Und die Aussicht auf Shkodra und den Skutarisee ist grandios. Ich bin etwa 3 Stunden auf dem riesigen Gelände unterwegs. Und mache sehr viele Fotos. Ich klettere auf jede Mauer und krieche in jeden Gang. Es ist ein richtiges Abenteuer.
Gegen 17:30 Uhr fahre ich zurück zum guest house. Dort verbringe ich den Abend wieder im Garten. Ich arbeite an meinem Blog und telefoniere mit Freunden in Deutschland. Auch heute bekomme ich abends etwas zu essen. Es gibt selbst gemachte, mit Schafskäse gefüllte Pfannkuchen.
Ich bezahle für 3 Nächte incl. Wäsche waschen 3700 Lek (30 €).
Später wird es empfindlich kalt. Ich gehe rein. Und schreibe dann noch im Bett den Tagebucheintrag von heute.
Etwa ab Mitternacht schlafe ich.

At 6:30 the alarm clock rings. First I upload the photo report from Sunday. Then I take a shower. Around 9am breakfast is served outside. As I am eating, it starts to rain very lightly. But it is only a few drops.
After breakfast I unpack my bike except for the saddle bags. At 10 I ride off.
First to the neighbourhood. To Edi's bar. There I spend the morning with him and his friends. We have a good chat in English. And partly in German. I tell them about my trip. It is a pleasant morning in the bar.
At noon I drive on. First to the centre of Shkodra. After some searching I find an ATM. As the guest house only allows cash payments, Viktor transfers the money to my account. I withdraw 5000 Albanian Lek. (About 40€)
Today I want to visit the ruins of Rozafa Fortress. This large medieval castle is on a hill outside the town. It is a 4 km drive. The entrance fee is 400 Lek. This ruin is really worth seeing. And the view of Shkodra and Lake Scutari is magnificent. I spend about 3 hours on the huge site. And take a lot of photos. I climb every wall and crawl into every passage. It is a real adventure.
Around 17:30 I drive back to the guest house. There I spend the evening in the garden again. I work on my blog and talk to friends in Germany on the phone. Today I also get something to eat in the evening. There are homemade pancakes filled with sheepcheese.
I pay 3700 Lek (30 €) for 3 nights including laundry.
Later it gets very cold. I go inside. And then write today's diary entry in bed.
I sleep from about midnight.
