Mittwoch, 11. September
Um 5:50 Uhr klingelt der Wecker.
Ich wasche mich und gehe dann runter.
Heute morgen trinken wir zu 3. Wasser und Tee.
Ab 7 arbeiten wir.
Die Nachbarin schneidet wieder Gras.
Wir fangen an, auf dem Feld neben dem Haus eine Freifläche zu schaffen. Hier sollen Kartoffeln angebaut werden. Dazu entfernen wir die Reste der vorherigen Anbaupflanzen. Unter anderem Okra.
Auf dieser Ackerfläche sind sehr viele große Schnecken.
Heute ist es sehr heiß. Der Boden ist hart und trocken.Die großen Okrapflanzen lassen sich teilweiße nur mit vereinten Kräften rausreißen. Um 9 machen wir Feierabend. Und bringen noch kurz das restliche Gras vom Wegrand zur Farm.
Dann dusche ich.
Nach dem Frühstück mache ich für Nikoleta und mich Zitronentee.
Dann schreibe Ich kurz Tagebuch und ruhe mich aus.
Eigentlich wollten wir mittags mit den beiden Fahrrädern in den Nachbarort zu einer Fahrradwerkstatt.
Auf einem der Räder muss Luft aufgepumpt werden. (Auf der Farm gibt es keine Luftpumpe).
Und anschließend zur Schule von Tara .
Aber es ist zu heiß.
Wir gehen erst nachmittags los. Und verschieben den Besuch bei der Schule auf morgen.
Um 14:45 Uhr gehen wir los. Da das eine Rad platt ist, schieben wir beide Fahrräder.
Tara hatte mir in Google Maps gezeigt, wo eine Fahrradwerkstatt ist.
Aber wir biegen zu früh ab. Wir schieben die Räder in der Hitze sehr weit.
Und entfernen und immer mehr von der Werkstatt.
Dann kommen wir ins Nachbardorf Amritchok in dem ich vorgestern schon mal war. Hier ist eine Fahrradwerkstatt wo wir Luft aufpumpen lassen.
Außerdem gehen wir in ein Café.
Ich esse Chicken Momos.
Dann fahren wir zurück.
Ab etwa 17 Uhr sind wir wieder auf der Farm.
Abends sitzen wir zusammen.
Heute schlafe ich schon ab 21:15 Uhr.
Heute Nacht ist in Dresden ein Teil der Carolabrücke eingestürzt.
Diese Nachricht macht mich sehr nachdenklich.
So etwas hört man sonst nur aus einem 3. Welt Land.
Aus meiner Sicht ist das ein Beispiel dafür, wie heruntergewirtschaftet Deutschland mittlerweile ist.
On the farm. Amritchok
Wednesday, 11 September
The alarm clock rings at 5.50am.
I wash up and then go downstairs.
This morning we have three drinks of water and tea.
We start work at 7.
The neighbour cuts the grass again.
We start creating an open space in the field next to the house. We want to grow potatoes here. To do this, we remove the remains of the previous crops. Okra, among others.
There are a lot of large snails in this field.
It's very hot today. The soil is hard and dry and some of the large okra plants can only be pulled out with combined forces. We finish work at 9 o'clock. We take the rest of the grass from the roadside to the farm.
Then I take a shower.
After breakfast, I make lemon tea for Nikoleta and myself.
Then I write a quick diary and have a rest.
We actually wanted to take the two bikes to a bike repair shop in the neighbouring village during the day.
One of the bikes needs to be pumped up with air. (There is no air pump on the farm).
And then to Tara's school.
But it's too hot.
We don't set off until the afternoon. And postpone the visit to the school until tomorrow.
We set off at 2.45 pm. As one bike is flat, we push both bikes.
Tara had shown me on Google Maps where a bike repair shop is.
But we turn off too early. We push the bikes a long way in the heat.
And we get further and further away from the workshop.
Then we come to the neighbouring village of Amritchok, where I was the day before yesterday.
There's a bike workshop here where we have the air pumped up.
We also go to a café.
I eat chicken momos.
Then we cycle back.
We're back at the farm at around 5 pm.
We sit together in the evening.
Today I'm already asleep from 9.15 pm.
Tonight, part of the Carola Bridge in Dresden collapsed.
This news makes me very thoughtful.
You usually only hear something like this from a 3rd world country.
From my point of view, this is an example of how run-down Germany has become.
