Dienstag, 10. September
Es dauert lange bis ich einschlafe.
Und ich wache immer wieder auf.
Als dann der Wecker klingelt, bin ich trotzdem erstaunlich fit und ausgeschlafen.
Ich wasche mich. Und geh dann runter.
Auch heute schneidet die Nachbarin Gras für uns.
Ich bringe es zum Büffel Unterstand.
Es ist sehr viel. Und dauert lange.
Ich komme ins Schwitzen und an meine Belastungsgrenze.
Und freue mich auf die kalte Dusche. Außerdem rasiere ich mich gründlich.
Nach dem Frühstück bin ich wieder alleine auf der Farm.
Ich ruhe mich aus. Und chatte mit Freunden.
Heute erwarten wir einen neuen Volunteer.
Ihr Bus aus Kathmandu hat aber Verspätung.
Nikoleta reist erst gegen Abend auf der Farm an.
Sie kommt aus der Slowakei. Und reist für 3 Wochen durch Nepal.
Hier bleibt sie 10 Tage.
Beim Begrüßungstee unterhalten wir uns sehr gut.
Sie bekommt das Zimmer neben mir.
Abends essen wir zusammen.
Ab etwa 22 Uhr schlafe ich.
Der Tag war geldfrei.
On the farm
Tuesday, 10 September
It takes me a long time to fall asleep.
And I keep waking up.
When the alarm clock rings, I'm still surprisingly fit and well-rested.
I wash up. And then go downstairs.
The neighbour cuts grass for us today too.
I take it to the buffalo shelter.
It's a lot. And it takes a long time.
I work up a sweat and reach my limits.
And I'm looking forward to the cold shower. I also shave thoroughly.
After breakfast, I'm alone on the farm again.
I take a rest. And chat with friends.
We're expecting a new volunteer today.
But her bus from Kathmandu is late.
Nikoleta doesn't arrive at the farm until the evening.
She comes from Slovakia. And is travelling through Nepal for 3 weeks.
She is staying here for 10 days.
We have a great chat over welcome tea.
She gets the room next to mine.
We have dinner together in the evening.
I sleep from about 10 pm.
The day was free of money.
