Vom Campingplatz "Autocamp Nordsee" bis Šibenik

Mittwoch, 24. März 

Um etwa 6:20 Uhr wache ich auf. Ich dusche erstmal. Dann gehe ich zum Strand. Setze mich auf eine Treppe und frühstücke. Die restlichen Fertigbaguettes. Anschließend schreibe ich den Bericht von gestern und lade ihn hoch. Um 10:15 Uhr fange ich an meine Sachen zusammen zu packen. Ich baue das Zelt ab und belade mein Fahrrad. Trinke dann noch meine Zitrone mit warmen Wasser. Und fülle den Kanister auf.

Als ich gerade fertig bin, kommt der Besitzer vom Campingplatz. Mit ihm hatte ich ja gestern telefoniert.  Wir unterhalten uns eine Weile. Ich erzähle von meiner Reise. Kai kommt aus Deutschland. Aus Oldenburg. Er lädt mich auf einen Kaffee ein. Also bleib ich noch eine Weile hier. Wir trinken Kaffee und unterhalten uns. Kai ist mit seiner Familie seit 1998 hier und betreibt diesen Campingplatz.  Er hat viele deutsche Stammgäste. Seine Frau kommt von den Philippinen. Sie fliegen im Winter regelmäßig dorthin. Und seine Frau hat auch Verwandtschaft in Japan. Das ist gut zu wissen. Wir bleiben auf alle Fälle in Kontakt. Es gibt Mittagessen. Sie laden mich zum Essen ein. Es gibt leckere selbstgemachte Frühlingsrollen und gegrillten Fisch.

Als ich mich dann verabschiede ist es 14 Uhr. Um 14:30 Uhr verlasse ich das Autocamp Nordsee. Um 14:45 Uhr bin ich wieder auf der D8. Ich folge dieser Straße 30 km. In der Ortschaft Drage kaufe ich Getränke in einem kleinen Geschäft. Ich fahre durch mehrere Orte. Und komme bei bestem Wetter gut voran. Um etwa 17:40 Uhr beginnt es zu dämmert. Ich bin 5 km vor Šibenik. Fast direkt neben der D8 entdecke ich eine Stelle zum Zelten. Allerdings liegt hier sehr viel Bauschutt. Und der Boden ist mit Steinen übersät. Ich brauche lange, bis ich Platz fürs Zelt geschaffen habe. Und bis das Zelt steht. Ich bin froh, dass ich die speziellen Heringe gekauft habe. Um etwa 20 Uhr liege ich im Zelt. Da ich auf einem weichen Untergrund stehe und alle Steine entfernt habe, ist es erstaunlich angenehm weich. Ich esse dann noch eine Kleinigkeit und lade die Fotos von heute hoch. Den Bericht schreibe ich morgen früh. Ab etwa 21:30 Uhr schlafe ich.

Ich bin heute 30 km gefahren.

Wednesday, 24 March 

I wake up at about 6:20. I take a shower first. Then I go to the beach. Sit down on a staircase and have breakfast. The rest of the ready-made baguettes. Then I write the report from yesterday and upload it. At 10:15 I start packing up my things. I take down the tent and load my bike. Then I drink my lemon with warm water. And fill up the jerrycan.

Just as I finish, the owner of the campsite arrives. I had spoken to him on the phone yesterday.  We talk for a while. I tell him about my trip. Kai comes from Germany. From Oldenburg. He invites me for a coffee. So I stay here for a while. We drink coffee and talk. Kai has been here with his family since 1998 and runs this campsite.  He has many German regulars. His wife comes from the Philippines. They fly there regularly in winter. And his wife also has relatives in Japan. That's good to know. We'll definitely stay in touch. They are having lunch. They invite me to lunch. They serve delicious homemade spring rolls and grilled fish.

When I say goodbye, it is 2 pm. At 14:30 I leave the Autocamp Nordsee. At 14:45 I am back on the D8. I follow this road for 30 km. In the village of Drage I buy drinks in a small shop. I drive through several villages. And make good progress in good weather. At about 17:40 it begins to dawn. I am 5 km before Šibenik. Almost directly next to the D8 I discover a place to camp. However, there is a lot of building rubble here. And the ground is strewn with stones. It takes me a long time to make room for the tent. And until the tent stands. I'm glad I bought the special pegs. At about 8 pm I am lying in the tent. Since I am standing on soft ground and have removed all the stones, it is surprisingly soft. I then eat a snack and upload the photos from today. I will write the report tomorrow morning. From about 21:30 I sleep.
